Last updated 22 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data LandCapital collects through landcapital.uk, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We keep it short and in plain English.
Who we are
LandCapital Developments Ltd (“LandCapital”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of your personal data. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17295303, with our registered office at Unit 714, 7th Floor, 120 Vyse St, Birmingham, B18 6NF.
For anything about your data, email [email protected].
What we collect and why
| What | Why | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Your first name and email address, when you sign up for the 30 days of planning uplift emails | To send you the email series and occasional related emails from LandCapital | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
| Your name, email, phone number and anything you tell us, when you book a partnership call | To arrange and hold the call, and to follow up about the partnership | Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries |
| Whether you came from one of our ads, and what you did on the site (only if you accept cookies) | To measure and improve our advertising | Your consent |
| The page you signed up on and any campaign tags in the link (for example utm_source) | To understand which pages and campaigns bring people to us | Our legitimate interest in running and improving our marketing |
| Technical data your browser sends when you visit (such as IP address and browser type), held in our hosting provider’s logs | To keep the site running and secure | Our legitimate interest in operating a secure website |
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
Emails and unsubscribing
Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link. Once you unsubscribe, we stop sending you marketing emails, though we keep a record that you opted out so we don’t contact you again by mistake.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf and only on our instructions:
- HighLevel / LeadConnector, our CRM, email and booking system
- Vercel, which hosts this website
- Wistia and YouTube, which play the videos on this site when you press play
- Meta Platforms, for ad measurement through the Meta Pixel, only if you accept cookies
Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where data leaves the UK, it is protected by the safeguards UK law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge.
We may also share data where the law requires it, or with professional advisers such as our lawyers and accountants.
How long we keep it
- Email sign-ups: until you unsubscribe, or for up to three years after you last opened or clicked one of our emails.
- Call bookings and enquiries: up to three years after our last contact, unless you become a partner, in which case we keep what our contract and the law require.
- Server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short period, usually a few weeks.
Cookies
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept cookies. Nothing non-essential is set until you choose.
| Cookie or tool | What it does | When |
|---|---|---|
| Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram) | Tells us which of our ads bring visitors, sign-ups and call bookings, and lets us show relevant ads to people who visited | Only after you press Accept |
| Security cookie from our hosting network (for example __cf_bm) | Protects the site against bots and abuse | Always; strictly necessary |
| Your cookie choice | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected, for up to six months | Stored in your browser after you choose |
| Wistia and YouTube video players | Play our videos. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode | Only when you press play |
You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of our homepage. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete
- delete your data
- restrict or object to how we use it, including for marketing
- move your data to another organisation
- stop using your data where you gave consent (this doesn’t affect anything we did before)
Email [email protected] and we’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We’d appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
